Protected Areas Learning and Research Collaboration (PALRC) has once again opened applications for scholarships for students undertaking study in 2019. Applications for this round are open 1‑30 April 2019.

The scholarship program supports emerging leaders to build their knowledge and further their skills in natural and cultural heritage protection, stewardship and conservation management.

PALRC is determined to support students and emerging leaders from right across Australia, Asia and the Pacific to participate in courses at partner Australian universities and institutions. Currently PALRC offers courses in a range of subjects at collaboration institutions Tasmanian Land Conservancy and co-founder University of Tasmania, Murdoch Uni, Charles Sturt University and Charles Darwin University.

Successful scholarship applicants will receive a scholarship ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 to support their chosen course. Successful applicants will join the PALRC alumni of emerging leaders across Australia, Asia and the Pacific.
