Christine Schlesinger is a senior lecturer in ecology and coordinator of the Bachelor of Environmental Science degree at Charles Darwin University. She is based at the University’s Alice Springs campus in central Australia. Christine’s research interests are centred on the ecology, conservation and management of vertebrate animals, with a strong focus on desert ecosystems. She has worked closely with protected area managers in central Australia in the Tjoritja National Park and Uluru- Kata Tjuta National Park on research projects over the past decade. Christine has a PhD from the Northern Territory University (now Charles Darwin University) and a BSc (Hons) from the University of Sydney.
